Simply the Best New England Clam Chowder
- 51 oz. Mid Atlantic Foods Gourmet Chooped Sea Clams
- 2 cups red skin potatoes, diced
- 2 cups celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 pinches black pepper
- 1 sprig fresh thyme, leaves only
- 1 qt. half and half
- Drain juice from clams into a soup pot, add everything else except clams and half & half.
- Cook until potatoes are soft.
- Add clams and half & half and simmer for 20 minutes.
