Clam Pizza
- 1 14" Pizza shell (frozen or fresh)
- 2 cups Sea Watch canned Chopped Sea Clams*
- 2 cups of shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 ripe Plum Tomatoes (sliced thin)
- ½ cup of fresh Basil (sliced)
- 4 cloves of fresh Garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp of Crushed Red Pepper flakes
- 4 Tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive oil
- fresh cracked Black Pepper
Method:
- Prepare the pizza shell by coating with 2 Tbsp of olive oil.
- Evenly distribute the cheese over the entire pizza.
- Place tomato slices evenly over the pizza, then the clams, crushed red pepper and garlic.
- Bake pizza for 12 minutes in a 475 degree preheated oven.
- Remove pizza from oven and garnish with fresh basil and drizzle the remaining 2 Tbsp of olive oil over the pizza.
Gourmet Clam Pizza - Personal Size
- 1 9" pizza dough (frozen or fresh)
- 1 cup Sea Watch canned chopped sea clams*
- 4 ounces of fresh Goat Cheese
- 1 Tbsp of extra virgin Olive Oil
- 2 cloves of fresh minced Garlic
- ½ cup of sliced, Roasted Red Peppers
- ½ cup of sliced Artichoke Hearts
- fresh cracked Black Pepper
Method:
- Prepare the pizza shell by coating it with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
- Evenly distribute the goat cheese, garlic, peppers and artichoke hearts over the pizza.
- Distribute the clams over the pizza and season with fresh cracked black pepper.
- Bake in a 475 degree preheated oven for 12 minutes.
*Drain juice and save for other tasty recipes.
